After pressure from the public and opposition political parties, Canada's foreign affairs minister Mélanie Joly says the government will stop exporting arms to Israel. The announcement came with few details, and has raised skepticism that any major shift in policy is coming.

Desmond Cole of 'Yes Everything!' spoke with Rachel Small of World Beyond War, a grassroots organization that has been campaigning for a two-way arms embargo between Canada and Israel.

In full disclosure, interviewer Desmond Cole participated in a World Beyond War demonstration to halt arms exports to Israel in February of 2024.
